Most of us keep the week in a phone, a work calendar, a school email and somebody’s head. Put it on a screen on the wall and the whole house is looking at the same thing, without being asked.

Two homes
Because nobody should count weeks backwards
Custody schedules are built in, not bolted on. Set the pattern once — alternating weeks, two-two-three, whatever you actually do — and every day says which home the children are in.
- Both parents see the children's schedule. Neither sees the other's private calendar.
- Handover days are marked, so nobody is counting.
- A change is visible in both homes at once, which is fewer messages.
When the day needs to be visible

For a child who does better knowing what happens next, a calendar you have to ask for isn’t much help. This one is already on, already showing today, at a size you can read from across the room.
- Routines run on the screen, a step at a time, and tick themselves off.
- Earned tokens are counted where the child can see them.
- Dark, quiet, and dimmer at night — a calendar, not a television.
